You can see the package as a concertante song cycle. Composer of sixteen parts is Jacq Palinckx, two inserts are written by Mayke Nas and Yannis Kyriakides. 'tictactictactictac' by Nas fits the orchestral framework well, with beautiful walls of sound, but also with a single cello that is bowed slowly. Kyriakides produces sharp accents with among others flute and percussion in 'Mnemonist S'. The work of Jacq Palinckx deserves big admiration. The smartness with which he has composed for each musician results in an often staggering sound. (...) Wringing. And intrigueing."
